We’ve done as fanpages suggested before bumblebee, didn’t have any issues at all (And received the voucher, although I think it was £10 or £20 at the time). Would love to give LF a go again but think we may actually have to pay for it this time! What do we think of netflix?

I tried Netflix & LOVEFiLM simultaneously last year (for about 4 or 5 months).
I found much more content we (my kids, partner, & I) wanted to watch via Netflix, & only a small selection of content via LOVEFiLM.
There is a dedicated kids selection at Netflix (both movies & cartoons) too.
Amazon/LOVEFiLM announced last year that more film production companies were signing-up to the service this year (2013) so more selection would be available then, so I cancelled my membership in November & plan to re-evaluate the service in a few months.

I took the 30-day trial with Netflix & one of my kids watched a *lot* of cartoons/animated movies for that period. I also reviewed the movies & TV programmes/series available that would interest me. There was at least a couple months of viewing. However, I then found that very little had been added during those months & so let the membership expire.
What you can do with Netflix though, if you have the technical know-how/inclination, is redirect your access (via proxy servers) to other regions; for example, North America.
You then have much more content to watch that is not available in the UK.
As I said, I started a membership with LOVEFiLM around the same time, but found I was watching more (UK) Netflix content.
Netflix was also easier to use because it had a much faster interface (via a PlayStation 3, & also via a web browser). LOVEFiLM’s search facility (via a PS3) was slow & awkward.
The advantage with LOVEFiLM, though, is that you can increase your membership coverage to include renting of video games, DVDs, & Blu-ray Discs.

I’ve heard that about accessing Netflix US too FP, apparently the amount of content over here compared to over there is shocking. I have found that netflix have upped their game recently though, they have ‘woman in black’ whereas sky isn’t receiving it yet, amongst others.

The trouble with Netflix is that you cannot review the content available before joining (for a free trial). As my account is already active, but I have stopped paying, I also cannot see what is available until I commence a monthly payment arrangement again.
Hmmm… I suppose I could use a disposable e-mail address for another 30-day trial.
